Chapter 21
Diane looked up from the monitors she was watching and turned to Francis and said “What do you mean you found some things we missed in the first background check?” “Well I did some digging and I found out that Miss Samantha McCall has a very bad past that she seems to have hidden well.” Francis replied.
“Go on” Diane said.
“When she was 16 it seems she developed a crush on a boy in her High School, turns out that boy had a girlfriend. Well Sam didn’t like that too much so did everything in her power to get the boy to break up with his girlfriend, when none of that worked she got desperate.” Francis said.
“Why do I feel a migraine coming on?” Diane said as she rubbed her temples.
“Well pull out the Aleve cause it gets worse.” Francis said as he handed Diane three pills with a glass of water.
Diane took the pills swallowed them down and said. “Go on.”
Francis continued. “Well it seems little Sammy decided that the girlfriend need to be out of the way permanently. Sam knew the girls schedule she knew she had cheerleading practice till 5:30 everyday after school, she also knew that Javon, Amanda, and Emily were the last three girls to leave every night knowing they were the captains of the squad. Sam waited until all of the other cheerleaders had left for the night, she knew the other three were working on the next part of the routine so she had the chance to go out to Javon’s car and she took a knife and split the brake line. Needless to say when the girls got into the car the minute they hit the curve on the road where Javon would have to use the breaks the car went flying off the road and into a telephone pole. Javon ended up with a broken neck and has been in a wheelchair ever since, Amanda was the luckiest she only wound up with two broken legs and some cracked ribs, but poor Emily was thrown from the car and killed on impact.”
“Oh My God!!” Diane gasped.
Francis continued. “Well it seem miss McCall didn’t get her wish Javon survived, also one of the cheerleaders happened to forget something and saw Sam under the hood of Javon’s car she testified at the trial and Sam was convicted”
“I don’t understand, if she was convicted how is she free and how did we not find out about this?” Diane asked confused.
“Well here is the kicker Sam’s lawyer claimed Sam was mentally ill because she has problems stemming back from when she claims her step-father raped her, turns out I did some digging on that and Sam seduced the step-father but when he told her no she claimed he raped her. Great girl isn’t she?” Francis said smugly.
“Continue” Diane replied.
Francis continued. “Well anyway the jury felt bad for her they gave her time in a place called Shady Brooke in upstate New York with the stipulation that she was to be released when she turned 18 and her records were to be sealed. That’s how we didn’t catch it when we did the original background check.”
Diane sighed sat back in her chair and said. “Well isn’t this just peachy I have a psychopath in the house who is after a beautiful mother of two. How in the hell am I going to explain this one and keep poor Elizabeth safe?”
Francis smirked looked up at the monitors and saw Jason sitting next to Elizabeth with his arm protectively around her and said. “I don’t think Americas Bad Boy is going to let anything happen to Elizabeth
